Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Business Development Manager (Data Center & Cloud Security) for a rapidly growing, global technology services organization specializing in advanced security and infrastructure solutions for enterprise environments. This is a fully remote, U.S.-based opportunity with up to 20% annual travel, which may include some potential international travel.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth initiatives focused on data center and cloud security solutions within enterprise environments. This role is responsible for developing new business, building high-value client relationships, and driving revenue through complex, consultative sales cycles. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise sales and a strong understanding of security solutions within data center and cloud ecosystems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within data center and cloud security markets across North America and global accounts
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline by engaging enterprise decision-makers and developing strategic account plans
Lead proposal development, including business case creation and solution positioning to differentiate offerings
Present solutions, manage negotiations, and close complex enterprise deals
Establish and maintain relationships with partners, clients, and key stakeholders to drive long-term growth
Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies, improve market positioning, and support overall business objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales, with a focus on data center, cloud and / or security solutions
Proven track record of selling into enterprise environments and closing complex deals
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, cloud environments, and security systems (e.g., electronic security, systems integration)
Demonstrated success in pipeline development, market expansion, and strategic sales execution
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to develop business cases
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
