Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Full Stack Software Engineer for an innovative and growing technology consulting and software development firm. This is a full time, direct hire hybrid (2 days onsite) opportunity in Plano, TX.

This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $150,000/yr (DOE) plus 10% annual bonus annually tied to individual contributions. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build, and support full stack software applications using modern web technologies and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop scalable solutions that solve real-world operational challenges
- Integrate APIs, databases, AI-enabled technologies, and third-party services into production applications
- Deploy, maintain, and improve applications across development, testing, and production environments
- Contribute to software architecture, documentation, security practices, and development standards
- Take ownership of projects, proactively identify solutions, and continuously improve processes and system capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with full stack application development
- Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or similar modern development technologies
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or comparable environments
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to improve productivity, problem-solving, and software delivery
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly, and take ownership of projects with minimal oversight
- Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI-enabled applications, LLM APIs, or automation tools into production software
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architectures, vector databases, or similar AI frameworks
- Experience with Kubernetes is highly preferred
- Startup, consulting, freelance, or founding engineer experience highly valued
