Scion Technical Search has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced, passionate frontend developer behalf of our client, a smaller yet highly successful and profitable startup company in Austin, TX seeking a Frontend Mobile Engineer!

The ideal candidate for this role will be proven and successful in building out hybrid and or reactive mobile based applications that is interested in working for a mission, oriented company making an impact in the lives of others, globally! Our client is currently working on an open source platform and they are agnostic to programming languages/frameworks. In this role you will have the autonomy to use the programming languages you prefer in building out this mobile application and will have the opportunity to choose what your team uses as well.

This role can either be remote & part-time or full time. Salary is $80-$100K annually with flexibility depending on experience.

What you will be doing:

• • Re-building our client's desktop application into a mobile first application, being focused specifically on the frontend while working alongside a backend engineer.
  • Building out a team of software engineers to maintain and develop mobile application deploying to AWS.
  • Creating a roadmap for the development of our client’s mobile application products.

What you will need:

• • Proven experience as a frontend mobile developer with ability to provide examples in app store or through online portfolio of your work.
  • Experience with Angular or React. 
  • Ionic a plus!
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Incredible communication skills and the ability to clearly organize workflows across teams.
  • Friendly personality and passion for helping others!
