Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com), the Bay Area’s leading nonprofit staffing specialist, has been engaged to find a Junior SQL Database Administrator for a local nonprofit organization based in Oakland, CA. This position is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity (it will start out as a remote position).
This role is managing our SQL Server databases, which includes development, test and production environments for our various enterprise and external web applications. Additional duties will include working with several departments to add system functionality, tables, and data; optimizing systems for availability and performance; and contributing to system upgrades. The Database Administrator is also responsible for maintaining applications, processes, and maintenance procedures; performance tuning; and documentation and management of changes to database operations.
