Scion Technical Search is seeking a Network Engineer who’ll be focused on security for our awesome client in Ashburne, VA. This is a wonderful opportunity for either a Mid or a Senior Level Engineer to join an established organization with over $150 million in annual revenue!

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about diving into new technologies and learning continually! This organization consults for a number of Federal clients and you’d be working weekly with new systems, new technologies and new challenges!

As a bonus if you love traveling for work, you’ll be onsite with clients in VA, GA, NC, SC, TX and MD!

What you will be doing:

• Implementation of proposed solutions for clients with an emphasis on the Network Security Vertical
• Pre-sales efforts may include bid responses, presentations, demonstrations, or general conversations with customers
• Post sales efforts may include the architecting and advanced configuration, operation, and installation of data communications networks

What you will need:

• Ability to obtain Secret Government Clearance
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with a variety of infrastructure and security products
• This team is huge on Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCNP etc.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
