Scion Technical Division is seeking a Sr. .Net Developer for a stable contracting opportunity for a local government organization in Kent, WA!

This team is working on updating custom built financial applications as well as integrating their existing systems with the FileLocal (business licensing) online platform. 

There is the possibility of conversion to full-time!

What you will be doing:

• Establish overall project technical objectives and deliverables; work with stakeholders to develop project technical scope definitions, deadlines, budgets and relative technical task priority order; keep project stakeholders informed of technical progress, potentially controversial matters or far reaching technical implications.  
• Develop complex software, create and execute designs for sets of new functionalities.  Perform as the lead application designer for small to large projects or sub-projects.
• Develop complex software in selected languages for products, integrations, and/or applications following coding standards in accordance with applicable software development methodologies, testing standards and release processes.
• Design and utilize complex test plans and test scripts (unit tests) for sets of new functionalities in custom development solutions

What you will need:

• 3+ years of professional software development expertise
• Strong programming experience across a typical Microsoft Stack:
  • C#/.Net
  • ASP .Net
  • ASP . Net MVC
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Visual Studio
• Knowledge of WCF
