Scion Staffing’s Technical Division is seeking a Remote Business Analyst to help complete some exciting projects with a local government organization in Kent, WA!

This is an excellent opportunity for those who appreciate the strong work/life balance that comes with governmental work environments. Even better, this position will sit fully remotely for the duration of this contract!

What you will be doing:

• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical staff to ensure business needs are clearly defined and understood
• Elicit, plan, analyze and develop business and/or technical requirements
• Lead and/or facilitate the gathering of requirements through interviews, workshops, consultations, site visits, surveys and business process workflows 
• Current projects:
  • SCADA – Public Works system to manage City utilities
  • Laserfiche – Record management system
  • RecTrac – Parks recreation management system

What you will need:

• 5+ years of experience and a proven track record as a Business or Data Analyst
• Ability to work effectively on several projects concurrently
• Work cross functionally with subject matter experts, managers and coworkers
• Prior experience in a government environment is highly desirable!
