Scion Technical Search has been engaged to find an analytical Backend Software Engineer who is excited to work for a company that is developing next-generation technologies and has a huge mission!

The Backend Software Engineer will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of individuals and be a part of seeing through a project from conception to finished product! As part of the software team, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the testing infrastructure for development of next-generation AI technology.

This position is for immediate, direct/permanent hire, and offers hybrid flexibility out of The Bay Area, Chicago or NYC.

What you will be doing:

• Designing and implementing the back-end of applications.
• Working with product managers, designers, machine learning researchers to be a part of the SDLC.
• Ensuring cross platform optimization.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Researching and developing new ML algorithms.
• Developing Artificial intelligence models to achieve objectives.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 3-5+ years of work-related experience.
• Highly experienced with full stack, mobile, and/or AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
