Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Software Test Engineer for our client, a growing fintech company in Mountain View, CA!

The Software Test Engineer is an integral part of the mission of this company! Building a vigorous testing framework with tests that can run across multiple systems is imperative to keep up with a diverse infrastructure that includes blockchain-based validation and storage, multiple integrations (3^rd party, pub/sub), and data pipelines.  This is a full time, direct hire role located in Mountain View, CA.

What you will be doing:

• Design and implementation of test infrastructure that allows for large scale tests as well as stable integration.
• Collaborate with other software engineers so system design and APIs follow best practices for testing.
• Create automated logging/monitoring tools with notifications if APIs aren’t tested.
• Ensure pub/sub integrations are working properly.
• Data validation and storage testing.

What you will need:

• 3+ years’ experience as a software engineer in testing
• Experience implementing testing infrastructure in a cloud-based environment
• Demonstrated experience with Python, Web Services, and C++
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure delivery of secure software solutions
• Experience in fintech/blockchain testing tools/methodologies/libraries is a plus
