Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Business Applications Lead for our client, a highly impactful non-profit organization in the educational leadership development space in AustinTX!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is excited about improving equity and academic outcomes for students across the state of Texas.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the life cycle planning of business applications including building, configuring, maintaining, enhancing, and eventually decommissioning applications throughout their life cycle.

What you will be doing:

  • Taking ownership of the organization's core business applications utilized by 60+ end-users - including CRM (Salesforce including Pardot and FormAssembly), Cloud applications (SharePoint), and a Learning Management System. 
  • Developing productive relationships with business leaders to influence application adoption.
  • Defining and enhancing methodologies and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and experience of continuous improvement. 
  • Assessing the technical and business "fitness" of the application portfolio and their associated costs and risks. 
  • Managing relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost effectiveness for the organization. 


What you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in business management, finance or related fields. 
  • Expert experience with Salesforce administration, LMS and Cloud collaboration applications as well as software integrations and project leadership. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to successfully influence internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Preferred: experience working for a nonprofit organization.
