Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search to find a Business Development Lead for our creative client, a fast-growing, woman-led agency based in Brooklyn, NY! An agency of 24 individuals, they sell storytelling to some of the most exciting emerging global brands through copywriting in a skyrocketing global industry, producing content and copy that ignites interest, engenders scalable traffic, insights urgency, create pipelines with engaged sales leads, and make a sizable impact.

This incredible organization is looking for an experienced, tech savvy B2B salesperson and closer that is driven to acquire key enterprise clients, draw in substantial commissions, and close a consistent stream of inbound leads across company sizes and industries to join them in this full-time, remote opportunity with offices located in Brooklyn. Interested candidates should come from NY, NJ, CT, MA, NE, and FL.

  • Sell the art of telling powerful, effective brand stories, building strong relationships with a variety of complex, corporate environments.
  • Energetically, positively, and intelligently guide leads and clients through the sales process as a consultant, actively listening, interpreting, and understanding client needs and proposing valuable solutions.
  • Flexibly juggle competing priorities and pivot towards different needs objectives on a regular basis.
  • Appraise and provide feedback on quarterly and annual sales strategies.
  • Meet and exceed set goals to fulfill agency needs.
  • Interface with a steady volume of inbound leads and warm outbound leads across their global clientele.
  • Guide the Marketing Team to produce closeable leads.
  • Report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and work closely with the Chief Operations Officer.
  • Other duties as they arise.

  • 5 years of professional experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in B2B, tech, or finance sales as a manager, account executive, business development executive, or similar senior level role and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant.
  • A love of and a fantastic command over written and spoken English a plus.
  • Successful marketing agency experience or comfortability with a fast-paced small business or startup environment a plus.
  • Passionate, personable, friendly, charismatic, collaborative, and hungry demeanor.
