Scion Nonprofit has been engaged to conduct a search for a Creative Content Lead for for our fantastic client, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing conservation initiatives and sharing discoveries through innovative media. A prominent philanthropic organization supports our client’s initiative and collaborates with leading media, science, and philanthropy partners.

This incredible full-time, hybrid opportunity is based in Singapore. 

This visionary Creative Content Lead will drive the development of mixed reality, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) projects, focusing on ocean-related storytelling. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision, technical expertise, and strategic insight to lead immersive media initiatives. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop and execute creative strategies for immersive media projects aligned with our mission.  Lead the creation of ocean-related immersive experiences, incorporating scientific content from our missions. 
• Manage AR/VR fellowships and residencies, guiding participants in content creation. 
• Collaborate with media and science teams to provide content for AR/VR developers. 
• Build partnerships to produce high-quality educational AR/VR content. 
• Oversee the creative process from concept to final production, ensuring project deadlines are met. 
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to guide creative strategies. 
• Lead student and educational programs in developing AR/VR content. 
• Evaluate proposals for future AR/VR projects. 
• Manage budgets and timelines using project management tools. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• BA or MA in Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field. 
• 8+ years in creative roles, with highly skilled experience for at least 4 years in AR/VR content creation. Proven experience managing teams and production timelines. 
• Expertise in mixed reality and AR/VR platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine), 3D modeling, and spatial computing. 
• A strong portfolio showcasing innovative AR/VR projects. 
• Up-to-date knowledge of AR/VR technologies and trends, with global industry connections. 
• Experience with educational media and creative partnerships is highly desirable.
