This is a 6-month contract position that has the potential to convert to direct hire.

What you will be doing:
- Managing Linux servers, MS Active Directory, and migration to Office 365.
- Maintaining and monitoring network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implementing and maintaining network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and security threats.
- Troubleshooting network issues and resolving connectivity problems or hardware/software malfunctions.
- Configuring network settings such as IP addresses, DNS servers, and network protocols.
- Providing technical support to end-users for network-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring network traffic and performance metrics using network monitoring tools.
- Implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions for network infrastructure and data.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures.
- Planning and executing network upgrades, expansions, or migrations to accommodate business needs.
- Conducting security audits and compliance checks to ensure network security and regulatory compliance.
What you will need:
- 6+ YOE as at Network Administration or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications (Microsoft certifications preferred).
- Strong background in Microsoft systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict background check requirements.
