Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced System Administrator for our client, a financial services firm in Clayton, Missouri!

This brand new position within the organization will be tasked with managing, maintaining, and monitoring all technology-based systems and associated infrastructure.

What you will be doing:

• Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure systems such as distributed compute, data orchestration, distributed storage, streaming infrastructure while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Delivering enterprise application and technical support to end users both in-person and remote, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for resolving support requests directly and/or in partnership with our key external IT service providers.
• Identify, diagnose, and rectify any issues with computer hardware, software, services, and applications.
• Should offer reactive and proactive support to business units and take into consideration critical issues.
• Deliverable measurable results on extremely time sensitive topics.
• Infrastructure monitoring and maintenance including configuration, patching, automation, hardening and system upgrades.
• Ensuring overall systems and server uptime, availability, reliability, and security.
• Liaison with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for specific requirements.
• Documenting, tracking, and enforcing IT policies and procedures.
• Enterprise IT project management.

What you will need:

• 3+ years of related Information Technology experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Windows OS
• Working experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure, virtual servers, and off premises application management
• Prior work with networking hardware / software such as switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN etc.
