Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Insurance Compliance Manager for our client, a growing fintech company in Mountain View, CA!

The Insurance Compliance Manager will be an integral part of the insurance team, working with software engineering, product and legal teams to support the product lifecycle while ensuring compliance with state and federal insurance laws and reporting on their impact as necessary to stakeholders.  Individuals passionate about cutting edge technology, insurance compliance and helping clients lead the most successful financial life possible are encouraged to apply! What you will be doing:

• Act as subject matter expert for insurance regulatory compliance
• Manage reporting requirements, regulatory inquiries and investigate complaints; work with regulators on issues as needed.
• Secure producer licenses for the company in all 50 states and ensure/track renewal requirements
• Develop compliance best practices and a sustainable framework for rapid growth.

What you will need:

• 7+ years of experience in US regulatory/compliance insurance experience
• Expertise in translating complicated laws in a clear manner to multiple operational teams
• Experience with the insurance policy lifecycle
• Understands the challenges of state regulatory environments
• Previous insurtech industry experience is a plus
