Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct a search for an IT Support Analyst (Tier 2/3) on behalf of an IT consulting company providing their clients with unparalleled IT services to businesses across the Washington, DC and Denver, CO area.


This opportunity is for immediate direct-hire employment and requires qualified candidates to work a hybrid schedule based in Centreville, VA.

What you will be doing:
  • Supporting clients with technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications, Cloud offerings and virtual environments.
  • Providing remote troubleshooting for workstations, networks and servers.
  • Applying technical support of networking equipment: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security.
  • Providing remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
  • Communicating with clients to keep them informed of incident progress or notification of impending changes or agreed outages.

What you will need: 
  • 4-5 years of helpdesk technician experience and strong communication skills to build client relationships. 
  • Enjoys working effectively and efficiently in a team environment. 
  • Diagnosis skills of technical issues
  • IT Certifications: Microsoft MCP or CompTIA A+
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
  • Knowledge of the full stack of Microsoft desktop and server applications as well as Office 365
  • Experience with Mac devices
  • Knowledge of applications used in the A.E.C. field such as AutoCAD and Revit
